In 2016, Erin Cuccio gave birth to and lost her fourth son Jacob in early labor. The baby that she felt had been promised by God to “heal her heart and change the chapters of her story” was gone.  It was difficult to reconcile, and this loss began a season of searching to find the purpose in the pain.  In that same time, Erin’s family was propelled not only into grief but into change. All of it left her feeling lost and unraveled. With a shattered heart, she began to wonder if there was an unexpected gift in this grief. What if this wasn’t just about losing Jacob but also about finding herself?   

Erin’s stories are woven together with grit and grace, and while they are personal to her, they are also relatable and inspiring. She breaks down her struggles with identity, comparison, confidence, busyness, persistence, and ultimately, resilience. She offers readers hope for a life of abundant authenticity. Our moments of unraveling can be a catalyst for change, and there we can find that maybe there was a thread of loveliness woven through it all.  

Erin Cuccio is a wife, momma, writer, podcaster, and speaker. After over a decade as an educator, she retired to her true passion—Chief Operating Officer of the Cuccio Household. She spends her days wrangling her three wild and handsome boys and supporting her husband in marketing for his entrepreneurial endeavors.
