In his new book, Steve Healy shares the incredible lessons that his wife, Nikki taught him during their 18-year marriage and subsequent three-year battle with cancer, which concluded with her passing just one week prior to her 40th birthday. 

This 52-week devotional is a result of the deep work Steve did the year following the death of his strong and spirited wife, who maintained a deep and authentic faith throughout her journey. Despite the brevity of her life, her journals, letters, videos, and messages left a legacy of wisdom forged through both her life’s joys and difficulties revealing life lessons focused on Jesus and applicable to living a life well-lived.  

Each weekly chapter of The Best is Yet to Come delves into a different faith-based concept with personal stories, scripture, prayer, thought-provoking questions, and actionable steps. This inspiring guidebook takes readers through the year to embark on their own journeys and strengthen their character and forge a deeper faith in Christ.  

Steve Healy is a widower, father, and follower of Jesus Christ. He serves as the Executive Pastor of Lighthouse Church, a large faith-filled nondenominational Christian church located just outside of Baltimore, MD. Prior to ministry, Steve served for a decade as an officer and helicopter pilot in the United States Navy. Steve received his undergraduate degree from the United States Naval Academy and a graduate degree from Liberty University. Steve touts his greatest achievement to be the three children he shares with his late wife, Nikki: Bailey, Rian, and Everett.
